We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the foundation of our faith, revealing God’s will and the plan of salvation. Every teaching and practice must align with Scripture, as it is the ultimate truth given to guide believers (2 Timothy 3:16, Psalm 119:105).
We believe in One God, who is the Creator of all things and has revealed Himself in different ways throughout history. In the Old Testament, He was known as the Father; in the New Testament, He came in flesh as Jesus Christ, and today, He dwells in believers as the Holy Spirit. Jesus is not a separate person from God—He is God manifested in the flesh (Colossians 2:9, Deuteronomy 6:4, 1 Timothy 3:16).
Because of sin, humanity was separated from God, but Jesus Christ provided redemption through His sacrifice on the cross. His death, burial, and resurrection made a way for us to be saved. Through His blood, we are forgiven, and through Him, we are restored into fellowship with God (Ephesians 1:7, Romans 5:8-9).
We believe the biblical plan of salvation follows the Apostolic teaching given in Acts 2:38. To be saved, one must repent of their sins, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues. This is the pattern demonstrated by the early church and remains essential for entering into the Kingdom of God (John 3:5, Acts 2:4, Acts 2:38).
The Holy Spirit is God’s presence living within us, empowering us to live holy, walk in truth, and be witnesses of His Gospel. It leads, strengthens, and transforms us into the image of Christ. The evidence of receiving the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues, just as it was in the early Church (Acts 2:4, Acts 19:6).
At Lighthouse Apostolic Family Life Center, we are committed to living out the Apostolic doctrine, staying true to the teachings of the apostles, and prophets, and fulfilling God’s call to spread the message of salvation to all who will hear.
